The goal of the amenoma brand is to fully utilize the skills of all the participating craftsmen and companies to manufacture and bring to our customers new kinds of products of high quality in every sense of the word, products that embody new values, unprecedented new perspectives, and an outstanding ease of use.
We hope to increase the recognition and interest in the blades and tools manufactured in our home city of Miki beyond the borders of Japan, sharing them with people all across the globe and creating a brand that is both interesting and engaging.

The name etymology is derived from Amenoma-Hitotsu no Kami, a Shinto god of iron manufacturing and blacksmithing who is associated with the Harima region, in which our city of Miki is located, and is mentioned in the ancient Chronicles of Japan (the Nihonshoki).

The logo is based on the motifs of the god Amenoma-Hitotsu-no-Kami and the crest of the Bessho family, who built Miki Castle. It symbolizes the whirlpool of thoughts and techniques that smithing combines. And the brand's midnight green color, known as 'iron indigo' in Japanese, symbolizes the iron we shape.

Through over 20 years of experience at my previous company, I became deeply fascinated by the tool industry, a local industry in Miki City and the neighboring Ono City. With a desire to work alongside local blacksmiths to invigorate the industry, I founded amenoma on March 31, 2021.

We infuse our products with the essence of the craftsmen's passion, and strive to introduce the world to the excellence of 'Made in Japan' products, releasing more and more original products.
