A firewood splitting stick made from natural hardwood.
The grip is great. amenoma batoning bou 300
Have you ever been in trouble when you were batoning because there was no suitable stick around? When you find a good stick, it is an essential item for batoning, so much so that you will treasure it. We have created a firewood splitting auxiliary stick made of natural hardwood (oak) that can be swung over a knife or hatchet to strike. Based on the handle of a "hand hook," a tool used to hang and carry heavy objects, the grip is easy to hold and does not slip out, so the force is transmitted to the blade and batoning can be done stably. The striking surface is square, and you can use any of the four surfaces depending on the degree of damage. We have made it into a size (300 mm) that takes ease of use and portability (storage) into consideration.
Batoning bou300 is a collaboration product between Kaneguchi Seisakusho and amenoma. In addition to being used as a batoning rod, it can also be used as a meat beater or shoulder beater. Each one is handmade, so you'll be impressed with how comfortable it feels to hold.

This stick is made from natural oak wood that has been naturally dried for about a year. It has a durable and comfortable grip, so you may end up splitting too much firewood. Since it is made from natural materials, it will break with frequency of use. The speed at which it splits also depends on the sharpness of the blade and the hardness of the firewood. If it is completely broken and can no longer be used, use it as kindling. We recommend wrapping a cover or tape around the grip to reduce the impact on your hands. Use it with the portable firewood splitting stand " Wood stand solo " for stable work.
