Back-mesh Saw Sickle, Stainless Steel, 1 Shaku 1 Sun Handle
Rust-resistant saw sickle.
Amazing cutting ability. Back-mesh Saw Sickle Stainless Steel 1 Shaku 1 Sun Handle
This rust-resistant thin sickle is designed for harvesting rice and vegetables. The blade is made of 1.5mm thick thin steel material that is fully hardened to a hardness of over HRC 60 degrees, and then thinned by a skewer finish (a technique in which the ground blade is further carved into a concave shape to improve weed separation and sharpness). The sawtooth design makes it easy to catch on stalks. This is an excellent sickle that is easy to resharpen. The non-slip handle (dyed black) also makes it rust-resistant and slip-resistant when working in wet areas.
The urame saw sickle can be used for harvesting rice and vegetables. The handle is 1 shaku 1 sun (330 mm), so it is recommended for those who are accustomed to the standard size of a sickle. It is for right-handed people.

The sawtooth is easy to use for harvesting. The exquisite gap between the blades of the sawtooth allows for pulling and cutting. I'm often asked how to resharpen the back-tooth saw, but the same method as for sharpening a regular sickle is to place a sickle whetstone perpendicular to the blade. Any sawtooth that has been lost will return if you sharpen it.
*Can be resharpened and repaired.
