Natural hardwood Zelkova is a dense hardwood with a specific gravity (a standard that expresses the hardness and strength of wood) of 0.69, which is nearly twice that of the standard wood "cedar" at 0.38. It has been used for high-end furniture, tableware, and nameplates since ancient times.
