About Michihamono
Michihamono began by manufacturing toothed sickle blades for rice harvesting and started producing engraving knives in 1979. Currently, focusing entirely on carving knives, they develop and manufacture high-quality high-speed steel carving knives (layered with steel) according to the needs of their customers.
Their products are used by professionals such as Buddhist sculptors and Japanese Noh mask makers, as well as carving enthusiasts.
They also aim to manufacture not only carving knives for woodworking but also products for educational purposes, such as resin, rubber, leather, and other materials, so that children too can easily learn how to handle and use carving knives.
