Bonito flakes Tsunesaburo 48mm (with dried bonito flakes from Ibusuki)
A bonito flaker made by a plane blacksmith.
Yoshino cedar box is beautiful. Bonito flaker 48mm.
The steel-like bonito flakes are shaved smoothly. This is a serious bonito flaker made by a plane blacksmith.
The blade is made of the highest grade steel, ``Aogami Steel,'' and is further compressed using forge welding and forging techniques to create a sharpener that is durable and maintains its sharpness. Freshly shaved bonito flakes are as beautiful as flower petals, and you can enjoy the best aroma and taste. We are also very particular about the box in which we put the shaved bonito flakes. Manufactured from Yoshino cedar with a beautiful grain and finished with a arare finish that shows the skills of woodworkers. The lid has a recess that makes it easy to open, so it can be used for a long time.
48mm is one size smaller than 55mm type. Recommended for those who value compactness. You can make bonito flakes (flower shavings, thread shavings, shavings powder), etc., which can be used in a variety of dishes. amenoma's special project `` Top Grade Ibusuki Bonito with Honkarebushi (Medium) '' comes with a sharpener blade and will be shipped ready to be enjoyed immediately after purchase. *Please be careful about the blade.

This bonito flaker was commissioned by the Ibusuki Katsuobushi Association in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, the largest producer of bonito flakes in Japan, from Tsunesaburo, a plane manufacturer. We want everyone to easily enjoy shaving bonito flakes and use freshly shaved bonito flakes at the table. I want you to enjoy the taste that is different from the pack. With that in mind, I was able to create it after much trial and error. Honkatsuobushi, which takes 4 to 6 months to make, is extremely hard and cannot be cut easily with a commercially available sharpener. Meanwhile, we contacted Miki City, which is a production area for hardware, and Tsunesaburo reached us and we realized a collaborative development.
I think if you use it for a long time, it will lose its sharpness. You can resharpen it yourself, but sharpening a plane with a straight edge requires experience. If it is difficult, we can provide after-sharpening (approximately 1,100 yen). Please use it with confidence.
