Amenoma is a brand established in 2014 in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, by a group of blacksmiths from Miki and Ono City, focused on creating new and innovative products. The name amenoma originates from Amenoma-Hitotsu no Kami, a deity of iron manufacturing and blacksmithing mentioned in the ancient Japanese chronicles (the Nihonshoki), who is connected to the Harima region, in which Miki City is located. This brand’s aim is to fully harness the abilities of the participating craftsmen and companies to manufacture and bring to their customers new kinds of products of high quality in every sense of the word - products that embody new values, unprecedented new perspectives, and an outstanding ease of use.
