About Doukan

Founded in July 1966, Doukan Co., Ltd. has been dedicated solely to the manufacturing of scissors. Initially, the company produced Rashakiri cloth cutting scissors, and over time, as trends evolved, it became the first in Miki City to start producing hedge shears for gardening. Doukan has also expanded its product line to include household all-purpose scissors, tin snips, and, capitalizing on the gardening boom, garden hoes.
The company's hit product series Kezutaro features various weeding tools, and more recently, Doukan has also developed a new brand, SHOZO, under a fresh new concept. Doukan continues to manufacture based on customer feedback.
