Commitment to Shear Making

In today's world, manufacturing processes increasingly rely on machinery, leading to a dramatic improvement in precision. However, Machines alone cannot produce quality products; they require the skilled handiwork of exceptional artisans. There is no single "right answer" in this constantly evolving world. Yoshioka Edged-Tool Works consistently answers the question of what constitutes the ultimate shears by confidently delivering "the best product at this moment" to the market. Our commitment is to continuous evolution for the future. This is Yoshioka Edged-Tool Works' theory of evolution, and "KUROCO" is the masterpiece born from this journey.

KUROCO Series Introduction

The KUROCO series comprises five types, designed to meet all gardening needs. Each type is available in multiple sizes, offering a comprehensive lineup.

Based on the black color reminiscent of a blacksmith's forge, these shears are shaped for ease of use, developed after thoroughly listening to the voices of professional landscapers. The blades, which leverage Yoshioka Edged-Tool Works' "cutting technology," are both delicate and tough. We use our proprietary forging and hardening techniques to produce a tough, high-performance special tool steel that is highly resistant to chipping. Furthermore, thanks to the delicate hand-polishing performed by skilled craftsmen over dozens of steps, this is a masterpiece that boasts a razor-sharp edge.
