Crowdfunding for "Griffon Kitchen Knife" has begun.

Griffon Kitchen Knife : A "blade of possibilities" that opens up a new world. The ancient knife-making methods, techniques, and ideas are passed down through the ages. Industrial design is precisely realized. While valuing the good old things, we have the flexibility to break away from existing molds. When these two elements come together, our imaginations become a product. Team "epyon" is carving out a new world.
The blade is hand-forged from rust-resistant, sharp silver paper No. 3 steel by knife blacksmith Shigeki Tanaka of Tanaka Kazuyuki Hamono, resulting in a 240mm double-edged blade. The handle is made of cast aluminum (AC7A) that evokes a new worldview, evoking the Universal Century. The case is a dedicated steel case that will make you feel even more satisfied the moment you pick it up and open it. It also comes with an optional epyon-crest.
