Sharpness born from tradition.

You can easily fillet small fish. Small Deba Tsuchime 120mm (right-handed)

A small deba knife that can handle large quantities of food with ease.
This handmade, honyaki-finished product combines the characteristics of white steel, including sharpness and ease of sharpening. Its 3mm thickness allows the blade to cut naturally, thanks to its thin, sharp edge. Furthermore, the knife's unique back-skid and back-pressed finish ensures excellent separation from food.
The small deba knife has a wide blade, making it easy to split the head of bottom fish like rockfish. It's a well-balanced knife that can also be used to fillet small fish like horse mackerel and for detailed cooking. The white steel makes it easy to sharpen, maintain a sharp blade, and is easy to maintain. It's useful not only for professionals but also for home and outdoor use. Available for right-handed and left-handed users.

The small deba knife has a wide blade, making it sturdy and easy to cut through the heads of rockfish. While there are various sizes to choose from, 75-90mm is ideal for filleting eels and conger eels, and 105-120mm is ideal for filleting horse mackerel and sardines. It easily slips through without resistance. And the hammered finish is a cool touch! Because this steel rusts easily, it's recommended for indoor use rather than at the fishing spot.
