The best partner. amenoma Bushcraft Knife.

The Bushcraft Knife Series is the ultimate camping knife, built to withstand any tough task, from splitting firewood to feathering sticks and cooking. The blade is double-edged and forged from blue steel No. 2 with a blackened finish. Its blade thickness is 5mm (6mm for the 150mm model). It combines sharpness with durability. The full tang makes it easy to baton hard hardwoods. It also comes with a "Banshu-Hiruto" guard to protect your hands and prevent your fingers from getting in the way of the blade.

The sharpness of this knife makes you want to keep splitting firewood. Before you know it, you'll be having a bonfire all day. The grip is wrapped with reflective pararope, making it easy to hold and non-slip. If you lose it at night, it's easy to find with the light shining on it. I've been using it for about five years now, and the blade has never chipped, making it my precious companion. What's amazing about this knife is that it can handle both hard firewood splitting and soft feather sticking and cooking with equal ease. And yet it stays sharp for a long time. How can they make such amazing knives?

The reason is that each knife is crafted by hand. The highest quality hard steel, "blue steel," is forged to densify its internal structure, making it even harder and more resilient (less likely to chip). This process maximizes the steel's performance. The blade is then shaped, hardened, sharpened, and wrapped with rope. Each blade is sharpened to its tip, depending on its condition, and then exquisitely etched with a small blade to make it less likely to chip. This is a truly handcrafted technique that cannot be achieved by machine, requiring the skill of a true artisan. Each knife is produced entirely by Ikeuchi Hamono, a blacksmith in Miki City that has been in business for four generations. Because they are handmade, production is limited, and there is often a wait due to production being slow. Very few companies in Japan are able to craft knives with such care and dedication. These knives are truly a lifetime product, built to last. Our customers say, "It was worth the wait."
